Where is the wedding venue?

The wedding will take place in Mexico, south of Cancun at Bahia Principe Luxury Akumal . The venue will be at the Gazebo located at Bahia Principe Grand Tulum next door, a short walk along the beach from Akumal. Transport to the venue will be arranged and provided from the Akumal hotel lobby and back.

What days will we be at the resort?

We will be there from March 2 to March 9.

Is there a hotel block?

Yes, we have a group rate at Bahia Principe Luxury Akumal for stays between March 1 to March 12.

What's the dress code?

Beach cocktail style! Feel free to dress comfortably for the heat.

For men, collared shirts or light sports jackets are perfect — no formal jackets or ties are required.

We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing all-white outfits (such as white dresses or full white suits) to keep that look reserved for the couple. White dress shirts are perfectly fine and light colors are highly encouraged!

What's happening after the ceremony?

After the ceremony, there will be Cocktail hour at the Gazebo venue. Flavored Mojitos and margaritas will be served throughout the hour. Group photos will be held with the bride and groom during this time so be sure to stick around!

Where will the reception be held?

The reception will be held at Restaurante La Gran Tortuga Rodizio in the Grand Tulum resort. This is a Brazilian style BBQ Restaurant featuring Brazilian-style grilled meat service at our private dining area on the terrace. Inside the restaurant, there will be buffet service options available to everyone as well.

How will we return to the hotel?

There is a system of golf cart shuttles that will bring you between all of the resorts. Feel free to take a shuttle back to your hotel room and back throughout the day and night. If you are coming from the reception dinner, the restaurant is beach front and lies on the border between Tulum and Akumal resorts. You can take a short 10 minute walk along the beach to return to the hotel
